Ukulele Lessons
Ukulele is fun!
It’s also really easy to play. The beginner program will have you playing songs at your first lesson.
The ukulele is 10 times easier to learn than the guitar. And it sounds great! You can take the ukulele to a level of tremendous virtuosity, or be the best-loved crooner of favorites on your block.
If you decide to move to a 6 string later, everything you learn on the uke is transferable to guitar.
For more experienced players, the “Uke 2” program will take your skills to the next level.
Individual classes are tailored to each student’s needs. Whether it is more advanced strums, rhythm subtleties, next-level chords, arpeggios, finger-picking, inversions, or lead riffs, these classes are designed to help you be the player you want to be, in the shortest amount of time.
For those of who enjoy singing, or think you might like to - there is plenty of opportunity add your vocals to the material covered in this program.

BIO: Mike Ehlers toured the US multiple times as a solo artist, playing up to 150 events per year. He is an award winning songwriter, who believes in the power of music to inspire audiences and create community. In addition to teaching thousands of private guitar and ukulele lessons, he spent a year bringing music to over 150 children per week at schools in San Mateo County, and lead an 18-member Guitar Ensemble at a local high school. He has a degree in Computer Networking. When he is not teaching he continues to perform at venues in Northern California and beyond.
